It seems like a pretty cut and dry question……Why do Tribute bands exist? Because some musicians loved their favourite bands so much that they want to emulate the music in anyway possible right? Well, Essentially, Yes and Rock.It Boy Entertainment has become the top dog for booking tribute bands in the Lower Mainland of B.C. and beyond. Lets take a look at our most popular past and future concerts involving Tribute Bands from some of the most loved music in history.
Thank you to the Facebook pages and websites of each band for info and pictures
Led Zepagain: Tribute to the Music of Led Zeppelin
The World’s Most Popular Tribute to Led Zeppelin and a Fixture on the Southern CA Music Scene for over 25 years!
Led Zepagain takes their audience to a place that not only replicates a Led Zeppelin concert, but captures the heart and soul of the world’s greatest band. A Led Zepagain show features all of the Zeppelin highlights, from the high energy electric classics, to the beautiful acoustic works; from the soaring leads on the double-neck guitar, to the brilliant keyboard passages, and from the high Robert Plant screams, to the trademark pounding rhythms.
Having formed in 1989 and recently featured on AXS TV’s “World’s Greatest Tribute Bands” Led Zepagain has become highly regarded as the most authentic representation of Led Zeppelin in the world today.
In January of 2004, Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page himself attended a Led Zepagain show at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. He was absolutely astonished at the bands accuracy stating “It’s amazing how much you sound like us. You must have grown up on this because you were inside the music, and you paid attention to detail in your presentation…I can tell you guys really love the music!”
This encounter led to the members of Led Zepagain attending Led Zeppelin’s 2007 Reunion Concert at London’s O2 Arena and a surprise visit from Jason Bonham in March of 2009 as he sat in with the band on their encore performance of the song “Rock and Roll”. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2w6noToYSqQ
Having played nationally and internationally in such places as Japan, Ireland, Alaska, Germany, Bosnia, Peru, Canada, Kosovo, Mexico City and Guam, Led Zepagain regularly performs to packed houses all over the world.

The Lonely ~ A Tribute to Roy Orbison
The BIG O was unmistakable with his trademark sunglasses, his distinctive, powerful voice, his complex compositions and the dark emotional ballads we all love. From 1960 to ’64 Roy Orbison landed 22 songs on the Billboard Top 40, including “Only The Lonely”, “Crying”, and “Oh, Pretty Woman”. His impassioned voice, bridging the gap between baritone and tenor, coupled with his signature arrangements ensured the charting of the hits “Dream Baby”, “Ooby Dooby”, “Blue Angel”, “Blue Bayou”, “You Got It” and “In Dreams”. Tragically, his life was cut short, leaving us only the music.
And, long may the music live! The Lonely delivers a sensitive and dynamic tribute to the one and only Roy Orbison. Veteran Mike Demers leads this group of musical journeymen in their mutual and deep appreciation of the timeless music of the Caruso of Rock. The Lonely ~ A Tribute to Roy Orbison approaches the music with a humble spirit and sincere desire to recreate the sounds and feel of the original recordings. This phenomenal band has been selling out shows right from their debut. Be there or be square!

The Official Blues Brothers ™ Revue
On an historic night in August 1978, backed by one of the hardest, leanest, meanest bands ever assembled by man, Jake and Elwood Blues sauntered onstage at the Universal Amphitheater in LA and proceeded to blow the audience out of their seats with “Soul Man”, “Rubber Biscuit”, “Sweet Home Chicago”, “Rawhide”, “Peter Gunn”, “Gimme Some Lovin” and more. Over the years, many have taken the stage behind dark sunglasses, skinny ties, and black fedoras to pay homage to the legacy of Jake and Elwood, but only a select few belong amongst the official pantheon of Blues Brothers – genuine, bona fide members of the family, carriers of the flame.
The Official Blues Brothers ™ Revue is the duo sanctioned by Dan Aykroyd and Judith Belushi to don the official hat and sunglasses and walk in the footsteps of the legendary Jake and Elwood Blues. Performers Wayne Catania and Kieron Lafferty capture the infectious humor and unbridled spirit of the Blues Brothers like no one since John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd walked the stage. Backed by a powerhouse band, they’ll give you a show to remember, packed with classic hits from the Blues Brothers catalog.
Sheila Martin, CEO, Dunn Center for the Performing Arts, Rocky Mount, NC exclaims, “This show was off the hook! Everyone had a great time from 8-to-88 years old.” Tom Dunphy, The Coast Star, NJ adds, “The most dangerous combination since Nitro and Glycerin.” Bonnie Stevenson, The Petrolia Topic, Ontario, adds, “The Show’s non-stop, high-energy sense and barely-restrained mischief infected the sold-out audience.” And, Eric Ferguson: WTMX The Mix concludes, “Great energy & music. This IS Chicago. Even audience members with no rhythm are dancing.”
