Jimmy Page Says, “It’s as close as you’ll ever get to the real deal”

Ever the musical adventurers, Plant & Page experimented with a variety of instrumental sounds. These unique musical forays added a completely new dimension to an already awesome repertoire. Arguably, the most outstanding music resulted on occasions when LED ZEPPELIN would perform and record with a string section. For this incredible evening, turn back the clock, remember or discover a new all that was LED ZEPPELIN. Capturing the heart and soul of “the world’s greatest band”, LED ZEPAGAIN will be joined by the Vancouver Island Symphony String Quartet, replicating the ultimate LED ZEPPELIN experience.

From the high energy electric classics to the beautiful acoustic works, you will be mesmerized as LED ZEPAGAIN resurrects Page’s soaring guitar leads, Jones’ brilliant keyboard passages, Bonham’s trademark pounding rhythms and the signature Robert Plant vocals. Jimmy Page says, “It’s as close as you’ll ever get to the real deal”. As you experience the immortal classics “Stairway to Heaven”, “Immigrant Song”, “Whole Lotta Love” “Rock ‘n’ Roll” and “Black Dog”, you’ll believe Jimmy Page is right; LED ZEPAGAIN is definitely “as close as you’ll ever get to the real deal!”

A master musician and a very knowledgeable student of the music of LED ZEPPELIN, Christian Nesmith takes on the demanding role of Jimmy Page. By his own admission, this son of MONKEES guitarist Michael Nesmith, decided to specialize on guitar after watching Pages performance in the Led Zeppelin live concert movie “The Song Remains the Same”. Having studied Page intently from the age of 13, he has become so acutely attuned to his tone and playing style that he is the perfect fit for the lead role in LED ZEPAGAIN.

An Irishman born and bred, lead singer David “Swan” Montgomery delivers an uncanny portrayal of Robert Plant. Recently Swan was pulled on stage by Roger Daltry for a duet rendition of “Help From My Friends”. Roger even commented on how much Swan looked like Robert Plant! He’s even lent his voice to numerous recordings, including the widely released Witchblade Soundtrack, which featured such artists as G. Tom Mac and Roger Daltry.

Completing this outstanding crew are Jim Wootten, nephew of legendary guitarist Les Paul filling the demanding role of John Paul Jones and master percussionist Jim Kersey who leaves audiences shouting for more after every performance of Zeppelin’s epic drum solo, “Moby Dick!”
