Three singles into their debut album and the band is kicking it.  CRASH KARMA is proof that the people still want a rock band that can serve it up on record and on stage.  While everyone else was into techno mash-ups and autotune music, CRASH KARMA was in the process of mashing together live human beings, four musicians that have all played on much-loved gold and platinum-selling hits in Canada and have rocked this country coast to coast, night after night. CRASH KARMA is built on the foundation of Jeff Burrows’ percussive, solid and innovative drumming that kept the Tea Party grooving for so long.  Add Mike Turner of Our Lady Peace on guitar and the talented songwriter Amir Epstein from the group Zygote on bass and top it off with Edwin, formerly of I Mother Earth, on vocals and we got ourselves some powerful music. CRASH KARMA’s debut album, produced by guitar player Mike Turner, was released in March and it’s an all-out rock record with songs that are heavy, intricate, big, intense and melodic with a sound that can only result from the combination of these four guys with their respective history, chemistry and musical prowess. The first single “Awake” is a psychedelic, other-worldly percussive rock trip into a higher consciousness and the hard rocking “Fight” is an aggressive accusatory punch-up about reflection and perseverance.  Listen to the crunchy new single “On My Own,” a never-give-up power anthem guaranteed to get the adrenalin pumping. Kicking off the night will be the new kids on the rock block, CENTREFOLD, a hard-hitting quartet from the suburbs of Vancouver with a rocking California sound who were finalists earlier this year in the Vancouver Fox Seeds 2010 contest.
