ME & MAE is Shawn Meehan and Jacky Mae, BC’s newest country stars. On the road, this dynamic duo is spreading their high-energy sound to fans throughout the heartland of country music. Singer, songwriter and guitar slinger CORY HAWTHORNE is a Country Music artist on the rise as well as an in-demand session musician. His album The King Of The Broken Hearts embodies all that is good about Country, from the smooth vocals to the steel guitar. The single “Goodbye to Biloxi” has been picked up by local station Country 107 FM. In addition, Cory was nominated for BCCMA Album of the Year and Ray McCauley Horizon Awards (2012). Ryan Fletcher – host of CJSF FM’s Melodies in Mind – says, “A fantastic classic country singer. The kind that I can listen to. He sings really well and makes it solid. He is a sample of why country music used to be good. Growing up on the beaches of Vancouver Island lends a west coast vibe to KYLEE EPP’s music, a blend of hippie roots with sassy bubble gum pop topped off with a dash of cowboy, resulting in a unique sound all her own. Kylee creates songs her audience can relate to, sing along with and can’t help but move to. Her first single “Be Your Girl” peaked at #42 on the Canadian Country Radio charts and can be seen on CMT Canada! Her sophomore single “Get It Right”, written with fellow Vancouverite Paul Laine, peaked at #55 on the BDS Canadian Country Radio Chart. The new single “You Will”, from her new EP is poised for monster success. Her passion and enthusiasm ring true through sweet vocals and fresh sounds.

Kylee recorded her first demo at age 13. By 15 she had put a band together and was playing the local bar circuit. Over the next eight years Epp honed her craft touring as a background vocalist and acoustic guitar player for Jessie Farrell, opening for Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Faith Hill & Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, Sugarland, Emerson Drive, Johnny Reid, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, and Miranda Lambert, to name a few. In Addition she appeared in two of Farrell’s music videos: “Let’s Talk About Love” and “Fell Right into You”. Kylee was awarded Runner-up in the Country 107.1FM Big Break Contest (2012) presented by County 107.1FM and the BC Country Music Association. She earned three BC Country Music Awards nominations – FEMALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR, SOCAN SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR, WEBSITE OF THE YEAR and a win for the RAY MCAULEY HORIZON AWARD (2012).
