THE ZOMBIES are back for their 50th Anniversary Tour with their newest album release. This latest instalment is a magisterial work; it is everything you could possibly hope for from the group who back in the ’60s provided such signature works as the singles “She’s Not There”, “Tell Her No” and “Time Of The Season”. The 10 songs, which make up Breathe Out, Breathe In (2011), are impeccably crafted pieces, rich in harmonies with full melodies and exquisite arrangements.

THE ZOMBIES are an English rock band, formed in 1961 in St Albans, a suburb of London, led by Rod Argent on piano and Colin Blunstone on vocals. Aside from the Beatles and perhaps the Beach Boys, no mid ’60s rock group wrote melodies as gorgeous as those of the Zombies. Dominated by Blunstone’s breathy vocals and Argent’s shining jazz and classical influenced organ and piano, the band sounded entirely unique for their era. The band scored US and Canadian hits in the mid and late 1960s and their album Odessey and Oracle (1968), is ranked 80 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time!

THE STRAWBS are best known for their hits “Lay Down” and “Part of the Union” and the chart successes in Britain with huge albums such as Grave New World (1972) and Bursting at the Seams (1973). From the mid 1970s the group concentrated their attention on the United States and Canada where their albums, including the classic, Hero and Heroine and Ghosts (1974), spent over fifty two weeks on the Billboard charts.

THE STRAWBS are David Cousins, Dave Lambert, and Chas Cronk, the front-line of the classic 1970s line-up of Britain’s most successful international folk-rock band, now touring as STRAWBS ACOUSTIC.
