There is a new gang of outlaws in the Lower Mainland and they have been running wild, riding from town to town turning good honest folk into rabble rousing, freedom loving rock & roll cowgirls and cowboys singing some crazy song called “Sweet home Alabama.” THE LONGRIDERS band is composed of passionate Vancouver BC musicians who bring the southern rock sound of the legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd band to life.  With more than twenty songs in their playlist, these highly respected artists perform the music with such precision and conviction that you can close your eyes and swear it was to the real thing . . . seein’ is believin’!  These talented guys and gals have captured the sound and soul of the greatest southern rockers. “Tuesday’s Gone,” “Simple man,” “Free Bird.”  THE LONGRIDERS love the music of Lynyrd Skynyrd and it shows as they have taken folks on a southern fried trip at the 2009 Cloverdale Rodeo and the 2009 Merritt Mountain Festival.  They take you through all the songs  like “They Call Me The Breeze,” ‘Gimme Three Steps” and ‘What’s Your Name” and leave you wanting more.  Take a trip with THE LONGRIDERS and experience the magic and the music of the south.
