Take a trip to the age of peace, love and flower power, a time when the music was the soundtrack to a generation; music that transported four mop tops from a little club in Liverpool to the apex of their profession. THE BEATLES defined an era of human history and became the musical icons of the century. Now, fifty years later, THE FAB FOUREVER – CANADA’S PREMIERE TRIBUTE TO THE BEATLES perform the monster hits “She Loves You”, “I Want to Hold Your Hand”, “Twist and Shout”, “Can’t Buy Me Love”, “A Hard Day’s Night”, “You Can’t Do That”, “All My Loving”, “Things We Said Today”, “Roll Over Beethoven”, “If I Fell”, “Boys”, “Long Tall Sally”, “Come Together” and oh so many more.

It is said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. For BEATLES super-fans Jody Tennant (Paul), Kevin Davey (John), Charles Boname (George) and Paul Kaszonyi (Ringo) the proverb holds true. THE FAB FOUREVER is a musical production performing all of the memorable hits live, without any vocal overdubs or pre-recorded music. This is a visually stunning tour de force delivered with all the raw energy, witty humor, and undeniable charisma that were the hallmarks of the Fab Four. With vintage period-specific instruments, and several full costume changes, THE FAB FOUREVER skip no detail with this production. Their enjoyment of the music translates into a passion and an energy onstage that makes for a tremendous show.

So authentic is the stage production that is THE FAB FOUREVER, the group was Canada’s invitee to perform at International Beatleweek in Liverpool, England (2015). They performed 10 shows in a span of 5 days during the festival to an audience representing some 50 countries worldwide. In 2016 the band headed off on tour to Asia twice. In 2017, it was time to concentrate on playing theatres and casinos in Canada.”

The BIG O was unmistakable with his trademark sunglasses, his distinctive, powerful voice, his complex compositions and the dark emotional ballads we all love. From 1960 to ’64 Roy Orbison landed 22 songs on the Billboard Top 40, including “Only The Lonely”, “Crying”, and “Oh, Pretty Woman”. His impassioned voice, bridging the gap between baritone and tenor, coupled with his signature arrangements ensured the charting of the hits “Dream Baby”, “Ooby Dooby”, “Blue Angel”, “Blue Bayou”, “You Got It” and “In Dreams”. As a part of THE TRAVELING WILBURYS Orbison brought us “End of the Line”, “Handle With Care” and “Last Night”. A prolific writer, Orbison pitched “Claudette” to The Everly Brothers. The track was a co-number one with the Everlys’ “All I Have to Do is Dream”. Orbison and The Everly Brothers tore the house down on TV’s Shindig performing Roy’s “What I’d Say”. Tragically, his life was cut short, leaving us only the music.

And, long may the music live! THE LONELY delivers a sensitive and dynamic tribute to the one and only Roy Orbison. Veteran Mike Demers leads this group of musical journeymen in their mutual and deep appreciation of the timeless music of the Caruso of Rock. THE LONELY – CELEBRATING THE MUSIC OF ROY ORBISON approaches the music with a humble spirit and sincere desire to recreate the sounds and feel of the original recordings. The band has been selling out shows right from their debut. Tina Coldwell of TLC Entertainment says, “One of the best tributes I’ve seen and I’ve been in the biz for 22 years.” Be there or be square!
