Bobby Bruce captures the phrasing, style, image, stage presence and voice of Neil Diamond. The tribute show focuses on Neil Diamond’s songs and rise to fame in the sixties through to his iconic Jazz Singer album. You will here songs like; “America”, “Kentucky Woman”, “Cracklin Rosie”, “Sweet Caroline”, “Song Sung Blue”, “Forever in Blue Jeans” and many more. Bruce has spent the last 15 years perfecting his performance and has astounded audiences throughout North America, Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. Born in Vancouver, Bobby began his professional career on stage at the age of eleven and has never looked back. In 1994, a Legend was born when Bobby’s incomparable talent for impersonating Neil Diamond was finally realized and since then he has played with some of the biggest shows in the business including a ten-month tour of the US with Las Vegas based Legend’s in Concert, and two tours of Australia with Legends of Rock. It was during one of his tours in Australia that the name NEARLY NEIL was bestowed upon him by the press and it stuck because no other tribute artist on the planet could come close to his awe-inspiring channelling of the energy and talent of Neil Diamond.
