There may be no snow yet, but you know  that the merry season is truly under way when Michelle Wright comes to town to remind us all what Christmas is really about.

Country 107.1, Rock.It Boy Entertainment  and Santa are proud to present Canadian country music superstar MICHELLE WRIGHT and the I’m Dreaming of a Wright Christmas 2009 tour on Thursday, December 3^rd at the Clarke Theatre in Mission. I’m Dreaming of a Wright Christmas is becoming an annual tradition. This is the seventh year that MICHELLE WRIGHT will be bringing her blend of traditional seasonal carols, some of her favourite Christmas music, some personal holiday reminiscences, some current material, and some surprises, too.  Much of the tour’s repertoire is drawn from Michelle’s Christmas CD A Wright Christmas (Icon Records)  and all punctuated with powerful country hits such as “Take It Like a Man,” “He Would Be 16” and “Shut Up and Kiss Me” that have earned her recognition as one of Canada’s greatest vocal talents.

In the past twenty years Wright has walked to podiums in music centers like Los Angeles and Toronto to accept thirty-two music industry awards. The Academy of Country Music, The Junos Awards and The Canadian Country Music Association are among those who have honoured her.  She has had 25 Top Ten hits (seven of which hit #1), 5 gold and 2 multi-platinum albums with record sales in excess of 800,000 albums and singles in Canada alone.

MICHELLE WRIGHT lives in Tennessee, records in Nashville and has toured across North America, Europe, Africa, South America and Australia but her Christmas is always back home in Canada.
