Jimmy Rankin is a Canadian country and folk artist and a member of The Rankin Family. Rankin has released three solo studio albums, Song Dog (2001 EMI), Handmade (2003 EMI), Edge of Day (2007 EMI), and is set to release his newest album Forget About The World (EMI) in April 2011 which includes the newest hit, “Here In My Heart”.

During the time that Jimmy Rankin was a part of The Rankin Family; the group won many Canadian music awards including: fifteen East Coast Music Awards, six Juno Awards, four SOCAN Awards, three Canadian Country Music Awards and two Big Country Music Awards. As a solo artist, Rankin was named Roots Artist of the Year in 2002 by the Canadian Country Music Association, won an East Coast Music Awards for Country Artist of the Year in 2002, was named SOCAN Songwriter of the Year in both 2002 and 2003, Male Artist of the Year in 2004 and was the Roots Traditional Solo Recording of the Year in 2004.

Over the last few years KYLEE EPP has spent a lot of time touring as the background vocalist and acoustic guitar player for recording artist Jessie Farrell. In addition, she has toured with many other Country greats such as Brooks & Dunn, Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, Sugarland, Aaron Pritchett, Johnny Reid, Emerson Drive, Faith Hill and Tim Mcgraw and just recently got off the road with Toby Keith.

After Kylee stepped into her first recording studio when she was 11 years old, to record a song for a school fundraiser, she was hooked. She began writing songs, taught herself how to play guitar, and recorded her first demo CD at 13. This would remain the pattern for the next 8 years as she continued to write, record and hone her craft. Don’t miss this great up-and-coming Country Superstar as she comes to Cascades Casino.
