CRYSTAL SHAWANDA’S country roots run deep. Her first single, “You Can Let Go”, was the fastest rising single in Canadian BDS History reaching the top 5 in Canada and top 20 in the US. Her debut album Dawn of a New Day (2008) was Billboard’s highest charting album by a Native American in history, and sold over 400,000 copies. A string of hits: “What Do I Have To Do”, “Dawn Of A New Day”, “Try”, and “My Roots are Showing”, earned Crystal the Canadian Country Music Association’s Female Artist of the Year (2009). With other singles “Love Enough”, “Fever”, “Fight for Me”, “Beautiful Day”, CRYSTAL SHAWANDA has garnered a journeyman’s share of awards including the Aboriginal Peoples Choice Awards Best New Artist of the Year (2008), Best Country Album of the Year (2008) and Best Single of the Year (2008), Canadian Radio Music Awards Best New Country Artist (2009) as well as two Juno nominations for Best New Artist (2009) and Country Recording of the Year (2009).

Crystal’s special guest, Langley’s own TREVOR MURRAY recently returned from Nashville where he recorded his debut solo album Leave it Up to Me (2012). Trevor is a two-time winner of the JRFM New Country Challenge for singles “Can’t Leave You Behind” and “Greatest Present of All”. He led The Murray Band to a nomination for Traditional Country Artist of the Year at the BC Country Music Awards (2010). TREVOR MURRAY is straight-up country.
