The ionic BIG SUGAR boldly goes forth with their brand new album “Eternity Now”. For the first time, there are no co-writers outside the band and new song lyrics ring out tried and true. Uplifting and full of resolve, addressing the realities of a hard life lived and survived from a tale of redemption in “The Better It Gets” to the vow to Gordie’s real-life superhero in “Wonder Woman”. After winning a long battle against his personal demons, band member defections, an aborted album, mental illness, addiction and even a life threatening illness, Gordie Johnson is a man sharing what it’s like to be blessed.

He is joined by his long-time friend and bassist Big Ben Richardson, drummer/multi-instrumentalist Chris Colepaugh, the languid Alex Johnson and conguero Rey Arteaga, master of Afro Cuban rhythms. Whether performing brand new songs or their certified hits, including “Diggin’ a Hole”, “Turn the Lights On”, “The Scene”, “All Hell For a Basement”, “If I Had My Way”, “Opem Up Baby” and “Dear Mr. Fantasy”, the roots rock reggae groove is deep and Gordie Johnson’s guitar always tells a story. Join BIG SUGAR for a night of new songs and all your favorite hits.

BIG SUGAR has multiple Gold and Platinum albums and is a five time Juno Award nominee for Best New Group (1995), North Star Rock Album of the Year (1997), Group of the Year (1998), Best Video (2000) and Best Rock Album (2002).

CULTURE BROWN is an energizing Jamaican-born Reggae artist described musically as sitting somewhere between Shabba Ranks and Buju Banton. With five albums behind him, Culture Brown has a global fan base. His electric stage presence is contagious, as he dares his audiences right off their feet, and into his music. He found his start in reggae music as a member of the Black Star Sound System, opening the doors for him to become a powerful figure on the reggae scene. A roots and culture dancehall artist, Culture Brown’s lyrical content often sheds light on today’s world issues and gives hope for a better tomorrow. His promotion of equal rights and justice for all is clearly demonstrated in the lyrics of his track “Here To Love” when he says, ‘I’m here to love, not here to judge….’. He stands firmly behind his lyrics as he extends his hand in friendship no matter what age, race, or sex. Culture Brown has released his highly anticipated double album “Poor”, available on CD Baby and digitally on iTunes, Amazon and Napster.

BRASS CAMEL, a self-proclaimed “prog-funk” quintet, is all about the funk, the whole funk and nothing but the funk. The brainchild of Daniel James, the group blends 70’s prog, funk and blues rock into a fresh, original sound. James began touring at age 11 and has performed with Les Paul and at NYC’s Apollo Theater. Since the release of their debut album BRASS CAMEL has unleashed progfunk madness, working to make every day hump day. Crank some Camel!

BeatRoute Magazine declares, “Though influence is apparent Daniel James’ Brass Camel is still totally fresh, unique and original…it’s a technical musician’s dream that leaves you wanting more”.
