The Platinum-Selling Band Goes Back to Basics with New Acoustic Dates
AND SPECIAL GUEST
Billboard Chart-Topping Rocker AYRON JONES
Rock 94 and 1/2 & Rock.It Boy Entertainment of America presents DAUGHTRY – BARE BONES TOUR Thursday, September 7 at the Bing Crosby Theater, 901 West Sprague Avenue, Spokane, WA. Tickets are $85.00 (plus Facility Fee & Service Charges), available online at bingcrosbytheater.com.
DAUGHTRY is taking it back to basics with their new tour announcement. The BARE BONES TOUR sees the Platinum-selling rock outfit plotting a rare acoustic run.
The new run follows Daughtry’s recent success with their Lzzy Hale duet, “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)”. The amped-up reimagining debuted at No. 1 on iTunes’ All Genres chart and reached No. 6 on Mediabase’s Active Rock chart, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of Journey’s original release of the song on January 5, 1983.
True to its roots, the single has racked up millions of streams, earning praise from heavy-hitters Variety, Billboard, Consequence, and American Songwriter, among others.
Daughtry, one of the most visible and best-selling rock bands of the 21st century, has sold out concerts across the globe. Their debut album, the self-titled Daughtry, was the top-selling album of 2007 and was the fastest-selling rock debut album in Soundscan history. It was also nominated for 4 GRAMMY® Awards and won 4 American Music Awards and 7 Billboard Music Awards, including Album of the Year. Subsequent albums, Leave This Town (2009), Break The Spell (2011), and Baptized (2013) have all gone Platinum, with Cage To Rattle (2018) certified Gold. In 2021, Daughtry released their album Dearly Beloved, which marked a return to their rock roots and a return to the top of the rock charts with their singles “World On Fire,” “Heavy Is The Crown,” and “Changes Are Coming,” each reaching the Top 10 on Billboard’s Rock Airplay chart. With their current single, “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)” featuring Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale debuting at No. 1 on iTune’s All Genre’s chart and earning praise from Variety, Billboard, Consequence, and American Songwriter, it seems the best is yet to come from the powerhouse outfit.

In 2021, as the world looked like it was burning down due to the COVID-19 pandemic and global protests sparked by the murder of George Floyd, Seattle-born rockstar AYRON JONES was achieving his dream. His song “Mercy”, from his debut major label release, “Child of the State”, hit the No.1 spot on the Billboard Rock Chart, making Jones one of the few solo Black artists to achieve the feat.
Now, Jones is set to release the follow-up “Chronicles of the Kid”, making him the happiest he’s ever been. Content in himself and confident in his stride, the question becomes what is the cost of clarity? What if the stories you wanted to tell hurt people around you? Would you still tell them? For Jones, the answer is yes. They’re his stories. And his honesty is the fuel that lights his powerful fire. To be human is to get dirty— or, in Jones’ own words, “Filthy”.
Hailed by American Songwriter as “one of the biggest names in the genre”, Ayron has opened for The Rolling Stones and shared stages with groups like Guns N’ Roses and Public Enemy.
