From Toronto to Carnegie Hall, THE NYLONS have earned their place in history. Their first album The Nylons (1982) went gold in only two months, going on to become a Canadian platinum seller, a feat repeated with their second album One Size Fits All (1982). In all THE NYLONS have seven gold and platinum records. They are now celebrating their JUNO nomination for BEST JAZZ VOCAL ALBUM (2011) for their 15th release Skin Tight. In addition they have garnered a Tokyo Music Festival award, and a Canadian Juno. Their song “That Kind Of Man” was used in Disney’s feature film The Tin Man and their version of “Up The Ladder To The Roof” was used in the movie Made In Heaven. Their recordings have been played aboard the space shuttle and they have made numerous major media appearances including The Tonight Show and Good Morning America.
