It all begins with the voice, something THE NYLONS have in spades. Taking the stage with just their voices, their joy and their ability to entertain, this acappella quartet is one of Canadaʼs top international success stories. The group has performed over 1000 concerts in dozens of tours worldwide bringing fans to their feet with such hits as “(Na Na Hey Hey) Kiss Him Goodbye”, “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”, “Please”, “Happy Together”, “Drift Away”, “Stepping Stone”, “Bop ‘Til You Drop”, “Chain Gang”, “Up On the Roof”, “Prince of Darkness”, “Poison Ivy”, “Combat Zone”, “Wildfire” and “The Stars Are Ours”. THE NYLONS are renowned for their vibrant live shows, featuring dazzling harmonies, smooth arrangements, tight choreography, and fabulous showmanship. Billboard Magazine comments, “Dazzling acappella vocalizing.” The Miami Herald adds, “Sheer style, sheer energy.” And Variety concludes, “Fast paced, dynamic and sold out!”

From Toronto to Carnegie Hall, THE NYLONS have earned their place in history. Their first album The Nylons (1982) went gold in only two months, going on to become a Canadian platinum seller, a feat repeated with their second album One Size Fits All (1982). In all THE NYLONS have seven gold and platinum records. They are now celebrating their JUNO nomination for BEST JAZZ VOCAL ALBUM (2011) for their 15th release Skin Tight. In addition they have garnered a Tokyo Music Festival award, and a Canadian Juno. Their song “That Kind Of Man” was used in Disney’s feature film The Tin Man and their version of “Up The Ladder To The Roof” was used in the movie Made In Heaven. Their recordings have been played aboard the space shuttle and they have made numerous major media appearances including The Tonight Show and Good Morning America.
